I'll be posting some lessons I learned during my first semester in College. I'm doing this to share some information and I'm not saying that everything I post is 100% correct there may be errors as well please do inform me.

Subject/Course: Trigonometry

Notes: The lessons below are my lecture notes when I was studying in college, its course code is Math12. This lesson dates from July 12, 2010 until September 21, 2010. This will only serve as a guide or basis to whatever you are needing. Take caution since most Lessons update every five years.

Trigonometry - is the study of Triangles and its measurements (perimeter, area, angles, etc)
Triangle - is a polygon with 3 sides. The sum of the angles of the Triangle must not exceed 180o

Types of Triangles:
By Sides

  • Equilateral Triangle
  • Isosceles Triangle
  • Scalene Triangle


By Angle
  • Right Triangle - a triangle with one-right angle
  • Oblique Triangle
    • Acute Triangle - a triangle with 3 interior acute angles
    • Obtuse Triangle - a triangle with 1 interior obtuse angle
